Welcome

It’s my first blog post and I’d just like to welcome everyone to CognitivePotential.com.

The scope and scale of this blog will evolve over time, but for starters, it’s been suggested that it would be a great communication tool to connect with others while I attend the KM World and Intranets 2008 conference in San Jose California next week.

Catherine Shaw, a colleague of mine who will also be attending the conference, has kindly agreed to be a guest author on this blog and share some of her take aways from the sessions that she attends.

Together, we hope to capture some of our conference learnings and observations, but, more importantly, get some comments to help us think critically while the ideas are still fresh in our mind.

We’ll do our best to post as often as possible and share photos via Flickr.

Peter.. great initiative! It’ll help you reflect on what you’ve heard to support learning, present a couple of different perspectives (yours & catherines), and let people who are interested engage well in advance of any formal debrief. I’m looking forward to it!

Thanks Dale! Soon, I’ll be posting a list of the sessions that I’ll be attending, so be on the look out.

I would love to talk to you Catherine re your reflections on the Connecting Knowledge, Learning, & Innovation to
Improve Business Performance presentation, if you can attend it. I hope to speak to Peter as well on this one, but wanted to get yours given your “KS driver” perspective.
